This file recommended a mission (MAGSEP) scoped to «Орбита — Space-π», the Russian domestic track under «Дежурный по планете» — a different competition with a different organizer, a final on 9–16 October, and judging on a ground test bench with no flight.
The competition you are actually entering is the International Space Tournament «Орбита» (spaceeducation.info), final 26 October – 1 November 2026, which includes a real stratospheric launch to 24 km.
That difference invalidates the reasoning here: MAGSEP was chosen precisely because it needs no space environment, which was the right call for a bench final and the wrong call when a real flight is available.

MAGSEP is still a sound mission and still an open problem — it re-scored 4th (79.1/100) against the correct competition — so it remains a viable fallback if the recommended payload is blocked on safety grounds. The physics and build notes from the earlier version are preserved in version 1 of the published trade study artifact if you need them.
